Westfield Topanga

Scope
Signage & Wayfinding
Summary

The Westfield Topanga project is an expansion and renovation of a 60s-era mall, in the Los Angeles area, into a high-end, upscale retail experience. Positioning itself as a destination of modern luxury, the mall and its environmental graphics build upon “California-living” themes of indoor/outdoor & formal/ informal. Each of the three garages are distinguished by a color and image palette – blue: water, red: earth and green: plant. The interior wayfinding signs adopt the neutral palette of the exterior site signage, which recalls the natural landscape features within the project.
