Scope
Identity, Signage, Amenities, Architectural Colors, Interiors & Donor Recognition Summary
The $180 million dollar project includes a 2,750-seat performing arts hall, a 500-seat theatre, theatre square, and a parking garage. Sussman/Prejza’s role in the project included: graphic identity, logo, color and interior design, signing, architectural amenities, and stationery. The identity of the project takes inspiration from the city’s cultural composition and explores the juxtaposition of elements as diverse as African fabrics and elegant, classic typography. The new logo expresses the theatrical nature of the building and its program. The oval “spotlight” of the logo continues to be used in various ways by NJPAC’s constituencies.
