The natural gas ﬂame, with blue representing the purest quality, inspired a series of abstract forms in Sussman/Prejza’s designs for The Gas Company’s headquarters, including street-level ﬂame sconces and sculptural ﬂame chandeliers in the two entry lobbies. These designs, in turn, lead to an updated identity for The Gas Company. From this point, Sussman/Prejza’s multi-year engagement for the client produced an array of projects including permanent and trade show exhibits, print collateral, employee uniforms and vehicular graphics. With Sussman/Prejza, The Gas Company projected a strong, consistent image in the built environment and on the printed page.
